A great Monument to the newly formed Tank Corps, pleasant models of different Tanks used. Even the posts around the memorial are Canons and joined by Engine chains.

A place of great historic significance. Parts of the memorial are made out of pieces of WW1 tank. Great view of a big chunk of the Somme Battlefield.

Very well presented memorial with interesting history. This is worth stopping as you travel. Spend 10 mins here and think about the brave men in the tanks.

Nice memorial on side of road across from the windmill historical site and memorial to animals of WW1. To the memory of the first time tanks were used in WW1.

I had paid this site a visit back in 2005. There may be a new sign describing the early tanks. I'd say it is only a stop for the diehard battlefield traveler.
