The Rodin Sculpture Garden contains a selection of 20 Rodin bronzes on the beautiful Stanford University campus. We visited the garden, which is free and open to the public, on a sunny spring Saturday afternoon. The garden is just outside the Cantor Arts Center at...More

Stanford has the most complicated Rodin sculpture collections. Many people picnic by the garden. It’s festinating to watch the video in the art museum that demonstrated how these sculptures were made. Be sure to tour the art museum while you are in sculpture garden.

The boyfriend and I went there while on a casual, art date. The sculptures are all originals either made by Rodin himself or under his personal guidance. Although you’ve got the gates of hell in the background, it can be a very romantic setting if...More

It's nice to see this large collection of Rodin sculptures outdoors, right outside the Cantor, in dialogue with the open space, people, nature and surrounding buildings. At the same time, it is strongly recommended to step inside the museum and explore the collections.

This collection, the best in the US, is laid out so very nicely for all to enjoy. The garden has the one instance of Rodin’s gates of hell in the US. And the other pieces are laid out in a green setting that invites leisurely...More

They have some amazing sculptures here. The Gates of Hell in particular is wonderful. It is worth going just to see that. If you like Rodin's work then this is not to be missed.

No, it's not. These group of sculptures is right next to the Cantor Arts Center (museum). But not far from Memorial Church, on the Memorial Court Park, there is also a small group of Rodin sculptures.
