I was staying in a nearby hotel this week and went for a walk around this place. Lovely setting set amongst several lakes. Spent a good couple of hours wandering around the place and it all seemed neat and tidy.

The kids club they've had overhalf term was excellent (always is) they always do a great show and entertainment for everyone. Great fun for the kids and plenty to do and very well adapted for the current circumstances of Covid. Cara and Darren have done a very good job at adjusting and keeping everyone safe but still fun for the kids. Enjoyed it very much ✌

We rented a caravan at Billing Aquadrome for the half term week and it was just the break we needed with the kids! The animation team Darren & cara were great with the kids and kept us adults entertained too with a haloween show ! Some great singing and competitions and lots of activities in the day to keep little ones busy! The arcades are still open as is the fair ( when it isn’t pouring down with rain ) and the billing team do a great job of maintaining the social distancing and other guidelines! Will be back next year! Xx

We booked a last minute two nighter on one of the Shelducks. It was a Thursday and Friday night stay and we were purely there to camp for the sake of camping and find somewhere to launch our canoe. Check in was simple enough and we were literally the only tent there. It all seemed very green and relaxing. Lots of space river access, herons - no complaints about that side of the site at all. However, the toilet block that had been circled on the map was actually disused. The actual block was the Pink and Blues behind it. I've never known such a dark, cold and soulless bathroom block. Straight out of a concentration camp. I didn't dare use the showers and there wasn't actually anywhere to clean your teeth as the sinks had a "no drinking water" sign over them. The only other person I saw in there was a man who clearly didn't know his pink from his blue. The only other people we saw in the park were no less than chavtastic. I was surprised by the amount of cans and bottles littering the otherwise well mown grounds. The little shop was well stocked and staff friendly. Can't really comment on social distancing as there was nobody there to socially distance from. We found a great place to launch our canoe - not technically on Billing land but easy access. Unfortunately the weather took a windy turn. There wasn't enough to keep us at the Park so we decided just to go home a day early. I have since read the other reviews and am so glad we left before the Friday evening. And no, we won't be camping there again.
