This house built in early XIXth century has a lot of souvenirs from George Sand and her friends including Chopin and Delacroix. The guided visit is interesting but in French only. The small garden is pleasant. Photos allowed inside the house.

The guided visit of George Sand house is fantastic if you understand french. Otherwise, there are no explanations in any other languages apart from 5 lines at the entrance. It is time to realise that some foreigners are interested and would like to understand.

My husband and I visited this famous french writer's house and indeed the region in July of this year. The tour was very interesting and insightful into the life of an intriguing lady. The grounds were well kept and the weather was beautiful
