The entrance to the church is almost always crowded, since it is just by the city's street side. There are a lot of parking spaces available.

First time to be here and I love the altar and the holy door. There's also a place to lit a candle for prayers

Sunday is a family day. And with this day, it is indeed a Sunday activity to visit the church and attend mass together. My eldest always insist to have it at the cathedral where she can see big replica of Jesus Christ, Mama Mary, angels in heaven and the fascinating huge electric fan at the center. This made our stay comfortable, anyway. 😊 Though we knew that Sunday will be a crowded day, especially that we attend and hear mass during late afternoon, the ambience is better and with the television posted to see and read, for everybody. Experiencing Palm Sunday at the St. Ferdinand Cathedral Church is another spiritual memory for our family. 💕😍🌿🌾

A well maintained church with beautiful lightings and decor. Always full to capacity with faithful praying together. The choir sings beautifully.
When you come to Lucena be sure to visit this Cathedral.

this is one sacred place in Quezon province right in the heart of its capital. even non-Catholics can actually appreciate this work of architecture built in colonial times.

what struck me in this structure was the humongous ceiling fans which amazed and fascinated my son. he kept on asking how it was mounted, what company made them and why our own parish could not have the same set of ventilation.

the Cathedral has limited parking space but it should not stop any car-owning Catholic to practice his religion. great interiors, classic interiors.

I've been here twice since 2008 when we traveled together with my friends, last 2017 I came there with my girlfriend and we visited Lucena City as one of our most places we traveled. It is so much enjoyable we also visited this Cathedral and we take time to reflect after that we went to Punk Mural which just before the cathedral and we eat the most famous of its delicacies Pancit Habhab.

There are many churches and places of worship in The Philippines and this is one more. Well worth a visit while you are in Luciana but if you don't have time remove it from you "To Do List"

once you are in Lucena City, never forget to visit first our St Ferdinand Cathedral which is open always for public specially to tourists. You can hear mass in the morning and in the afternoon before enjoying Lucena City's tamous Chame. The cathedral is in the heart of the city but limited parking space. You may take jeepney or tricycle to get there for 8.00-10.00 per person... so say your prayers before having your city tour.
