We were keen to visit the winery of this iconic regional brand & left disappointed. The cellar door is nice with outside areas to enjoy, but the whole experience was typical of other large, commercial brands. Take your money (first order of business), get you...More

Called in at Cloudy Bay during our wine tasting day, pretty much where it all began for NZ Sauvignon Blanc years ago, friendly guide and good cellar door facilities

My husband and I visited this winery and had a tasting and a cheese/meat platter. The platter cost $55, which was very expensive for what we received. You pay for the wine tasting but it is deducted from the price if you buy a bottle...More

Great wine tasting in a nice setting. Knowledgeable staff and lovely Rose wine. Nice restaurant setting as well even though it wasn’t open yet.

We had take a friend to Blenheim for a visit and took them to cloudy bay for wine tasting. The service was lovely - they were knowledgeable on the wines and was worth doing if you are looking to taste some great wines

Although the grounds are lovely & the wine is fantastic, there was nothing to eat apart from ice cream & a $30 cheese platter! We drank our wine & went across the road to Allan Scott for a meal.

Lots of vineyards border the road to Cloudy Bay, lovely part of the country. The road to get to Cloudy bay is Wairau Bar Road, very pretty.

Wine tasting can certainly be done on a turn up basis. They charge NZ$10 for a basic tasting of 4 wines of which $5 can be applied to a purchase. I consider this fair as it discourages those that only come to tastings for... More
