Great beach for a stroll and there’s some amazing shells here too. Free parking but it’s limited - fine when we visited but imagine it’s busy in the summer and it’s next to the main road so everyone passes it going south.
White sands and amazing black sand patterns swirled in its worth a stop

We came for a stroll on this beautiful beach during our stay in Lofoten. There aren't many parking spaces, but we found one quickly. The weather was rather mixed, I imagine it is even more complicated when the weather is nice. The white sand beach is very beautiful, and the water transparent. Without the fjords in the background, we might have thought we were in the Caribbean. To have !

Beach with marvellous view and really worth a visit. Clean white sand, turqoise water and the scenery mountain view are amazing. Visit the place also at night for a swim under the midnight sun - if you are in Lofoten at the right time of the year! Consider that the parking place is far too small for such large and well visited beach. Toilet at the parking lot totally overrun and looking this way…

I also remembered Lofoten for the white beaches and the crystal clear, freezing waters. We had been on this beach with the sun on a hot day. We saw it with the wind and the rough sea. But it is always fascinating as are all the white beaches of these islands

Very nice beach where you can experience the full force of the north sea, be it calm and sunny on a nice day or windy and foggy on a bad day.
The water is crystal clear and refreshingly cold. The sand is very white and clean. Nice place to visit and find some inner peace.

This was truly a unique experience. A beautiful beach and sun 24h. FANTASTIC.
Ofcourse in June the water was could but we had a day at the beach anyway.
Depending on where you place yourself on the beach you may scent the smell of sewage.
Further north, yu will find a very nice camp area with cabins called Lofoten Beach camp. A great place.

The Ramber beach, just north of the village, is a perfect place for relaxing, taking a bit of sun and for a romantic promenade. We walked to the beach after dinner and thanks to the great light of the evening sun we relaxed juts walking and sit on the tiny sand. The sunrays crossing the clouds gave a magic atmosphere.

Great white sand beach. There are cabins there to stay too. The water was refreshing. I'd return to this beach.

The beauty of this white sand beach north of the arctic circle with stunning blue water and mountains as the backdrop…magical! The beach was almost deserted on a weekday afternoon in late August and the weather was delightful, warm, and sunny. Great for a beach stroll, wading in the water, a quick swim…or just appreciating the stunning view. (See review of a great restaurant nearby—Gjestegård.)

Beautiful wind sand beach with clear water, it looks like any beach in the tropics on a sunny day until you touch the water and remember where you are. Just stunning.
