Undeniable that this is a "proper" links course. Just back from a two round day here with my group of eight. We all loved it.Played the Brabazon course which ended up as a tough and difficult course but equally score able upon if your game...More

Fortunately the weather was good, that was half the battle on this course. The course itself was less intimidating than expected (nothing like Royal Lytham ) , good shots were usually rewarded not punished. The course is walkable, not very long. This favours shot makers...More

The golf course is very challenging with punishing rough & deep pot bunkers if you are slightly off line. A typical links which is dependent on the usual wind blowing. There are 22 holes in use to make a variety of 18 hole courses. The...More

This is a Proper golf course, a True Test for any standard of golfer. It has wide honest fairways deep bunkers and excellent firm true smooth greens. Another good point is that the course is flat and not too heavy on the legs which at...More

Played the Bishops layout on February 7th and was really surprised at the condition the course was in. Superb for winter golf, fast greens great fairways. A really top quality links golf course and the food afterwards was fantastic value. Will certainly be back.

Arrived just as the weather was relenting and so had the course virtually to ourselves. Received a nice welcome from Office and Professional. I am old and a 24 handicap but found the course great to play and in excellent condition after very heavy rain,...More

This is a real test of golf and you know you have played when you enjoy your drink after the game. It was a bright and breezy day, typical links golf, course playing long and greens fast, it was dry and with no rain for...More

If you want to play real golf, choose a top links course. Seaton Carew is unfashionable, being in the Teesside conurbation, with a dramatic industrial lanscape though sadly no seaviews. It is a proper links course; tough in the wind; brutal rough and all you...More

Excellent reception from club house staff and prompt service with good food. The course was excellent playing the Brabazon course. Pity you didnt see the sea anywhere and industrial skyline made it different to the usual links course. However a severe test and some very...More
