The statue was good, but unless you were very interested in wars, its average. Outside the castle, you can't miss it, so worth fa look.

Inside the Stirling Castle grounds you find this museum, there is no additional fee to visit the museum which is full of interesting stories abut the regiment and some poignant stories about some of the soldiers who have served in the regiment in different campaigns.

We stopped here while visiting Stirling Castle, and I'm so glad we did! There are extensive displays of uniforms, weapons, writings, etc., and knowledgeable guides are on hand to answer questions or provide additional details about the exhibits.

Great and interesting museum regarding the highland regiment. The displays are well presented both chronologically and in their content. Free to enter within Sterling castle, but well worth a donation when leaving. If you have any interest in military history then it's a must.

Many interesting displays and knowledgeable guides who are only too willing to impart their stories to those who want to listen.

Full of great artifacts and history. It is worth it to see the painting of "the thin red line" alone. Would thoroughly recommend.

Do not miss visiting the Museum during your time at the Castle. Steeped in history with interesting militaria. Remember to donate as they are self funding.
