Just off the main promenade near the tram station this little Glen is a lovely spot. Nice walk up through the wood along the stream. Illuminated at various times of the year.

Close to Douglas promenade, just walk up the Summerhill near the Electric Railway and then go through the brick archway. A nice path to wander and sit and enjoy the birds and plants. No illuminations until August.

Like many beauty spots on the Island, the glen has had a bit of a battering over the winter and parts are closed but hipefully this will be ready for the summer

The glen is beautiful, however it is too dark and there are a lot of tree stems to fall over. Taking children and dogs is not good.

This is a very pretty glen which is illuminated with all sorts of things. A lot of steps and steep in places, so not ideal for people with walking difficulties, but if you can manage it, do it. It’s a real fairy glen

My brother-in-law, sister and their daughter (7) walked through Summerhill Glen and loved every minute of it. There were fairy houses, mommy ducks with ducklings, the waterfall that changed colours, the swans and especially the peacock and all the lights. There were also dinosaurs which...More

This Glen is best visited once the daylight has gone or is fading as the most enchanting aspect of Summerhill Glen is the lights that are prolific within the glen. Once the light fades the glen becomes and enchanted walk through fairy tale scenes and...More

Well worth a visit if you're staying in Douglas. We had a walk down the Glen after walking up to the TT grandstand. It's a hidden gem...we didn't know it was lit up at night, so we'll have to have a stroll through the Glen...More

This could of so easily be tacky, but it's not. Even if when you read my words it sounds tacky, it's not. Go if you are in Douglas in the dark. At the North end of Douglas is Summerhill Road, walk up a little way...More

As a reviewer has written below I too don't understand any complaints. This attraction is free. It is a small glen with colourful lights, some of which change colour on leaves and water. I love the fairy doors and the animations. Great for children to...More

As far a I am aware they are. There is no-one checking at either end of the glen and we have certainly seen people walking their dogs. Hope that helps and that you enjoy it!
