Great big open beach when the tide is out good for a long walk and would be good for people with dogs as when let off the lead they could run for miles

A rare find - stunning clear water, good for surfing and great grill stations close to the beach for a BBQ.

When we visited Dunbar in late July we spent about and hour or more at this beach. It was a gorgeous and hot sunny day and a perfect spot to enjoy the surf and the sand. The water was warm and inviting to wade in.

Great place to go and lose yourself in your thoughts and unwind, one of my favourite places to visit with the family dogs.

Spent quite a bit of time on the beach looking for seashells to bring back to Texas, loved every minute on that awesome beach. The beauty of Belhaven Beach will take your breath away.

Nice beach with fantastic views of Bass Rock out in the Forth estuary. Nice walk along the cliffs outside Dunbar then heading down towards this expanse of beach.

We often go and sit down at belhaven beach, the view across to the bass rock is amazing, watching the surfers, people out walking. The subsets at night are just fabulous and all this right on our front door step.

Well the car park is very close to the beach..you can easily take a slow wander. This beach tends not to get overly busy, any time of the year, so that helps when someone may be lacking in confidence on their feet or unsure... More

I am really not sure, however, you could call Belhaven golf club, I'm sure the number would be easy enough to find on th web. They might even allow you to use their ground which runs down to the beach. The main beach is part... More
