Seaham has been cleaned up since I visited as a child. In fact the whole of the northeast has been cleaned up since I was a child. Search for seaglass and shells on the beach. Eat well in the local restaurants. Enjoy!

The pebble beach was disgusting. Most of it looks like yellow toxic waste. Rubbish Human excrement and sanitary pads made it even more of an unpleasant experience. Make sure your jabs are up to date before venturing here
