We visited while the house was dressed up for Christmas, it felt so festive and the kids loved it. The volunteers are very helpful and one did a fun puppet show for the kids too. The gardens are beautiful and we love to feed the...More

I visited recently with a friend, accidentally, in that we were there for a walk but taking advantage of my membership, we went around the house too. In truth, I would have spent more time if I had been on my own and look forward...More

The claim to have the largest collection of carriages is no exaggeration. Well laid out and labelled showing how people travelled before the times of cars and trains. The house is also worth a visit with a number of interesting exhibits and history especially of...More

The house alone is well worth the visit. Beautiful rooms and lots of information about its history and the lives of the Chichester family. Outside there are extensive gardens including a very large walled garden. If this was not enough you also have the fascinating...More

A lovely property with very friendly staff willing to chat and tell you lots about the rooms and the things in them. The carriage museum was much bigger than we expected and had a super exhibit we had no idea was here, and it was...More

Volunteers in all the many rooms of this magnificent estate are eager to explain all the history and culture of the place. The Chichester family lived here from the 1800s and there are charts explaining the family tree. Dogs are welcome on the many walks....More

What a wonderful visit to this lovely Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum. We could not believe how much was here. A lovely house with excellent help with volunteers throughout, but the icing on the case was the Carriage Museum. Do not miss...More

An interesting family home dating back almost 200 years. However the estate offers so much more. There are some wonderful woodland and countryside walks to the lake and Monkey Puzzles and much more. But don't leave without taking the walk across to the Carriage Museum...More

Sorry , I can't remember if its an inclusive price. You need good weather to view the gardens and estate though. I have visited often enough to know rain isn't good for walking through the lower estate

Not absolutely certain, as we don't have a dog, but I did see some people with dogs on leads around the grounds but not in the house or carriage museum. Hope this helps.
