I went to see the birthplace of the man and enjoyed the display of a Shetland craft. The volunteers where knowledgeable and they are doing their best to ensure the craft survives.

The wife and I really enjoyed our visit to the museum. The staff was very pleasant and informative. There are some really interesting displays and it provides a nice look into the area, it's artisans and it's unique products.

A hidden gem with really interesting exhibits across a wide range of local textile media! The staff was well informed, welcoming, and engaging. The knit goods in the gift shop were particularly good value. One of the highlights of my time in Shetland--I'm a knitter!
