Challenging but lovely walk
Jun 2021
Absolutely lovely walk from Salcombe, we made it into a loop, walking back to town through Malborough, before a well earned pint at the Ferry.

Challenging but worth it for the views and fresh air
Aug 2021
If you take the top route via Overbecks and Sharp Tor it challenges the legs, the lower route contouring round Sharp Tor head is significantly easier and also v rewarding. A must if you visit Salcombe.

A very attractive walk
Aug 2021
Stunning views on a nice day, one of the most pleasant walks you'll ever take. Not too stenuous but the first stretch to North Sands and South Sands is a bit up hill and down dale

Good but be aware of ticks
Jun 2021 • Friends
A beautiful walk. But be careful of ticks. I picked one up on my leg despite wearing long trousers. There were many visitors wearing shorts. They must have had more ticks on them. On the positive side not so likely that the ticks are carrying Lyme since there are few deer or grey squirrels in this area. But you never know.

Loved this walk, just a shame we were in the mizzle. Will definitely return to do this again on a clear day - stunning coast line.

Stunning coastal walk.
Dec 2020 • Family
This is a truly stunning coastal walk. I really recommend doing a 'loop' so that one way is along the coast and the other way the headland as the different views from the different paths are stunning.

Being NAT Trust members we parked at Overbeck house and walked from there.

Spectacular coast path
Nov 2020 • Couples
This is a beautiful walk. The coast path has several steep ascents and descents, so you need to reasonably fit.

Fabulous walk

This is an amazing walk around the coast but it does have its up and downs, especially when it’s wet and windy! However it is well worth persevering to see the stunning views along the coast.

Stunning Devon cost scenery. Not a walk for anyone unsteady on their feet. Nor is it a walk for someone nervous about heights!!

Good Coast Path walk
Sep 2020
Nice circular walk. Took the ferry to South Sands and started from there. Walked back through Tor woods.

Great views, good exercise. Recommended!
