Today was a perfect day to visit Sheffield Park. The Rhododendrons are out in bloom and are just beautiful. Not to be missed. Next month the Water Lillies will be out and will be worth a visit.

What a shame that the cafe is woefully inadequate for such a large and beautiful park. Bring your own flask and sandwiches to save yourself a long, long wait.

During April/May the park is a blaze of colour from the azaleas and rhododendrons. Winding paths meander through endless colourful shrubs, trees and lakes. These gardens must be among the best in England. Certainly worth a visit.

We live about 6 miles away but had never visited the park. We enjoyed hours of strolling through the beautiful gardens with the rhoderdenderons in full bloom. There's plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the stunning views. Our only observation is that there...More

Peaceful, calm and wonderful. Although the azaleas were out and looked stunning. we were too early for the rhododendrons and so will have to go back. If you have someone unable to walk you can book a mobility scooter for one or two people. Our...More

There are no bikes to hire at Sheffield Park - there isn't really the room or any cycle paths. People with accessibility issues can hire mobility vehicles.
