St Ann's Well is dressed for Emily Bronte this year with a representation of Cathy from Wuthering Heights. It looks absolutely wonderful! All credit to the creativity of whoever produced it. Thank you.

A gorgeous part of the country - a drivers dream - Buxton town is beautiful, a coffee/café lovers paradise. Also plenty of quaint shops and charity shops. The fountain is unique too, and you can drink the water.

Not too far from the park you will find this unremarkable water fountain. It gives warm water what a surprise our ancestors must of had on discovering this!

This ancient well reminds us that Buxton was and is a spa town. I along with many others were looking round for notices asking not to drink the water but it seems it's fine so to do and the water tastes lovely, slightly aerated and...More
