The building is now utilised by Derby University and incorporates a cafe being open to visitors. It was previously utilised as a hospital complex. The dome itself is magnificent go take a look.

We just went to tour the building and were blown away by the acoustics underneath the dome. The spa downstairs has a fascinating history. If we get back there I am definitely booking a mornings worth of pampering.

We visited this Dome in the day time and were enthralled by the amazing sound that reverberates as you stand in the middle. We came back again in the evening and walked in freely but weren't sure if we were allowed in at that time.
