Walked down the harbour early morning. Lovely fresh sea air and brilliant views of the south cliffs. Worth the walk. And just as nice on a night to look back into Scarborough all lit up.

The first thing we do on arriving in Scarborough is to take a walk along the harbour, visit the lighthouse and sit and watch boats large and small return to their moorings. Amateur fishermen trying their luck and a must for young families, crabbing, finished...More

Walking along the harbour and pier in Scarborough on a dry day in the Winter is lovely. There are great views across the bay and plenty of things going on in the harbour to watch. Fishing boats unloading or just seagulls flying by and taking...More

Had a gorgeous day out and had the chance to view the harbour from the castle. What a lovely view! Can't wait to visit it close up.

Walked along the Harbour to the lighthouse which is beautifully well maintained. Lovely views across the marina and to the beach. Seating available to sit looking out to sea, spotted seals and watched people fishing. Tranquil location away from the bustle of the seafront... lovely.

Had a stroll along the harbour area with my daughter towards the end of July 2017 during our 3 night stay in Scarborough. An interesting walk with a mix of boats, and busy with plenty of people having a stroll. At the end of the...More

Often visit for fish and chips, today for breakfast. Friendly staff - never served without a smile. Always hot and freshly cooked. If I would ask for one thing different it would be a mini teapot rather than builders tea!

Great to wander around the harbour, even in January. Scarborough is still a wonderful traditional town, with chip shops, fruit machines and cafes. Well worth a visit
