This was very disappointing, the station was light up pretty but on the train ride there were a few light displays along the track ( that had seen better days) and large gaps of darkness.

I was given an engine driving experience. Had a superb afternoon, learnt a lot about the workings of a steam locomotive. I had an excellent driver to teach me. If I lived nearer, I'd certainly apply to work there as a volunteer.

Used to take our children on this train thirty years ago and decided to go on it again.Nothings changed and we really enjoyed the experience once again.Its brilliant for young children but also very enjoyable for adults.
