Lovely railway. Last went on it about 50 years ago. Much improved since then. Same engines plus a steam engine (Steam not running when I visited). Good shop and all staff friendly and helpfull. Highly recommend.

Nice little diversion. Short trip there and back. Do "driver experiences" which sound very good! Range of interesting carriages and steam trains.

The ramp is steep but yes there is a car for the wheelchair to sit in although it is used for buggies a lot of the time so at peak times there might be a wait

There is not a bus service that runs from near the Grand Hotel. The best option would be to get a taxi and ask them to bring you up to the ticket office at Peasholm Station. A return ticket would be £3.90
