This particular bench is well positioned between north bay and South Bay, so if you walk it you can rest halfway, the gentleman in question is not very chatty though ! But looks good on photos

The statue is stunning and the story about Freddie is moving. You should take the time to read about this lovely man who inspired such a public tribute.

When you're wandering along the promenade and you come across this it always brings a smile. It's well crafted and a good photo stop - "because it's there".

Over rated! Needs some care and attention! Wasn't sure that I enjoyed being there, but as we had never visited before thought it was worth giving it a try. Enjoyed Whitby though
