Lovely play/ water area for children. Great place to have a picnic. My only criticism is that thaw ladies toilets were absolute disgusting! The floor was filthy (muddy) there was no loo roll in the holders and most of the toilets didn’t flush. I appreciate that were there is grass and water it will get muddy therefore dirty but the staff need to be inspecting the toilets frequently.

Splashlands - fabulous place for families. Take entry for north Lake. Plenty of grass to sit on and some sails for shade. Wonderful safe splash area and pirate ship and swings. Plenty of parking (pay for parking) free entrance to Splashlands. Ice cream and drinks kiosk (no cash, card only) only sells snacks like muffins and crisps. Cafe is on the South Lake about 15 mins but across a busy road. Take a picnic. Couple of changing rooms. Toilets close by but weirdly close at 2pm mon to fri and at 3pm weekends.

Great place for all and family Biggest let down was the toilets they are disgusting. Also all the rubbish stacked up along back fence. Rats will love that lot. They need to use some of the carpark money redoing the toilets and cleaning the place up.

We had a pleasant and long walk around one lake and a section of the second lake. It was very enjoyable walk and lovely to see so many ducks, geese and other treasures of nature.

Unfortunately I'm not reviewing the place itself which is lovely , but it's the dodgy parking fines many are getting and I have just recieved 2 of them for 2 different weeks.
Blue badge holders beware, even when you follow the instructions given on the boards at the car park, the rip off company still issue fines.
Needless to say we are appealing but please beware when using a blue badge here.

On the car park ticket machine at the South Lake there is a sign with a number to call for for Blue Badge ticket holders - a recorded message asks to give details of the location, car registration and permit number - however having stated these there is no acknowledgement until finally a message to press 3 to save the message? Tried calling the number 6 times but same each time - ended up paying for a regular ticket at the machine which I had to bring back to my car - not easy due to my mobility issues.

I have not been for years but having got a new dog thought be nice to visit, well won't be back for sure before I went I googled everywhere to locate the form for reduced fees for parking couldn't get any help same when I phoned up, parking instructions are vauge at best no doubt to boost funds going by the other reviews I have just seen, park is dirty badly kept and the toilet not usable as they were filthy don't bother other places have clear parking instructions happy helpful staff and clean loos better to drive a little further such a shame I have such happy memories of the park how it used to be its a dump now. Sadly I had to give a one star personally for me the visit is in the minus.

There is a great splash area for kids but the rest of the park is fairly useless, parking is a rip off and the ice-cream was terrible. £6 to park for 1hr 20 minute and a £2.50 mr whippy that was inedible.
It was really disappointing.
Park area needed maintenance and the toilets were dirty.

My late father and I used to sail model sailing boats (not radio controlled) here back in the 70s. I still have the boats, is it possible to use them on the model boat lake? Or is it RC only these days? I recall by the end of the 70s the non-RC boats were very much in the minority and were not welcome.

Unfortunately I do not know either. I would imagine you can contact them to ask.

Can you walk between the North and South sides of the park?
Pixietraveller99

There’s a main road between them probably 15 mins walk from the splash park to the cafe at the other side.

Its difficult to track down your online free disabled parking application form online

The car park machines were easy to use and you can also use the APP on your phone/device. However, I am uncertain on the application of which you speak so you will need to investigate this further online or via phone.

Watford, UK23 contributions
I think it would be picnics only, but not sure, there is a café and water sports shop, Im sure they'd give further information.
Lots of ducks and birds that would appreciate feeding!
Do you get charged if you drive in then straight out
