Sorry but the service was so slow and then the food was rubbish. Great starter and sweet but the mains roast beef, cold , frozen veg , rubber Yorkshire, not roasted potatoes. When I left to get my car in car park, no lighting . Somewhere I won’t return to

Lovely venue, close to M5 and Taunton. Easy parking, great facilities, lovely decor. The gardens are particularly nice, especially for photos (on a sunny day) .

We got married at Woodlands Castle on the 3rd August this year and honestly we could not have asked for a more amazing day! Holly who co-ordinated our wedding was FANTASTIC! We live in Bangkok and Holly was great at helping us organise from afar by email and was happy to meet at a time that suited us when we returned 5 weeks before the wedding. She guided us through the organising with professionalism but also a really relaxed and friendly approach. On the day, lots of our guests fed back how friendly the team was and how Holly and Julie helped with anything that was needed. They were great fun to have as part of the day and the morning of the wedding set up anything that was needed and took any stress that I may have had away. We were even able to set up the day before (as there was no wedding on) and had great fun doing so. The venue is incredible, our guests loved the setting and the evening fire pits were a big hit. The food was delicious and we loved the choice of reception drinks. I couldn't recommend it more. Our wedding day was perfect. Thank you! xx…

A massive Thank you to Woodlands for our wonderful wedding day! From all the planning meetings & outdoor sound checks everything went superbly. Our outdoor ceremony was perfect. We hired the Garden Pavilion for a staff celebration and were thrilled with both the venue and the service we received. The pavilion was completely self-contained with its own bar and everyone was given a choice of cocktail on arrival. We had an informal barbecue and, thankfully, with the help of a hastily erected gazebo, not even a sharp summer downpour could put the dampeners on the party! The food was fantastic and the mix of both indoor and outdoor seating areas worked well.
