We often visit Sandford and go to the clay pipe for an evening meal. There was 13 of us at our last visit and the food was lovely, they set out the conservatory for us. I highly recommend this pub.

Stayed at nearby caravan sites, found the pub busy with visitors and friendly locals. Had a number of reasonably priced good meals sitting outside in the glorious sunshine. Is well worth a visit.

The pub is between two caravan parks and still has a separate public bar. The place was reasonably busy. Drinks were reasonably price and whilst the menu was fairly traditional pub fare the food was reasonably priced, hot and edible.

We stayed in the Wareham Lodge retret just up the road. We came here for dinner every night the only problem is it doesn't open till 5.30pm and you can't order food until 6pm. Good is very tasty reasonably priced. Drinks are very cheap too....More

Not sure about gluten free meals but I am sure if you asked that they would accommodate your allergies, As for New Years Eve, we went last year and a great time was had by all! !!! I would advise booking early.
