    Don’t trust the timetable!

    Awful experience. The bus was approximately 45 late from Studland to Swanage. For the £7.40 fair (2 singles), we should have got a cab!

    An enjoyable bus ride

    Staying in Bournemouth my friend and I took this bus to Swanage even sitting downstairs this was a delightful ride down some pretty lanes with lovely views and then a fun journey on the ferry from Sandbanks.

    Hello, I can see you have complained about the number of open top buses. I am here as a bus enthusiast, I know their systems inside out. Basically they have 3 half open buses, 3 closed buses and 6 convertible buses . I can see you visited in June however the company doesn't take the roofs off until July (when kids break up from school and they will get more demand for this) At this time of year, I understand your frustration (they need 6 buses for the 1/2 hrly service) and at the BEST of times (during the day when all 3 are working, full of fuel etc) only a half of services are open top. I like the open ones too, I get frustrated when a closed top comes along too. Can I reccomend another visit this time in August, maybe you will get that open ride you were after (brand new nice buses this year too)! Thanks Ben

    no, the company has banned pets on their buses due to an incident last june

    The service runs all year but not necessarily with an open top bus as they put the tops back on in autumn.
