We stay near Poole a couple of times a year and always make sure we visit Upton Park a few times. Lovely park with plenty of dog bins provided and a chance to have a snack in the Courtyard café after our walk. Car parking...More

We were staying at a local caravan site and wanted somewhere to walk the dog and grandchildren and - oh boy - we found it. With hard paths for the most part and great structures for the kids in the woods, this was a godsend....More

Upton Country Park is still a great place to go for a walk with your Dog, though it has become more commercialised recently. Parking fees apply in main car park areas, which will put off some people, but nevertheless still a beautiful part of Upton.

Spent a lovely day walking round the extensive grounds, had afternoon tea, looked round the art exhibition and then had a tour of the house for the bargain price of £1.50. A real local gem that should be supported.

Sure it’s lovely in the summer, but on a cold day when you haven’t got a dog, it’s a bit dull! The majority of the plants in the walled garden are dead, and the plant shop that opens in March wasn’t open! Cafe was okay!...More

We were here to see the birds specifically. And we were not disappointed. There is a walk on Thursday mornings, with an RSPB leader who is highly knowledgeable and helpful. A very likeable chap. Many of the group were regulars, but we first-timers were made...More

Yes in the woods, have to be careful as lots of cyclists around on the harbour side board walks though. Lovely walled garden, sheltered for day time use for all and a courtyard with cafe.
