Really enjoyed the old grass top homes on a beautiful spring day. Lots of preserved history in this beautiful setting. Many old Viking boats and other Norway boats on display. Worth your visit!

We recently visited the Sunnmoere Museum in Alesund. It was really not very crowded and pretty peaceful. The boat replicas were neat to see. I learned a lot about early Norwegian building techniques and loved to see the buildings with the grass on the roofs.
