This is a steep challenge, but very satisfactory when reaching the top. You feel you've achieved something different. It's definitely not a walk in the park :-)

A quiet difficult hike for beginners, but absolutely worth it when you get up there and experience the spectacular view over Bergen.

Get a taxi or bus to the beginning; then start the hike up, across many, many, stone stairs, but be aware it is very uneven, and steep. Have good walking shoes with good grip, also (it's Bergen) be prepared for rain and slippery. The view...More

It is a stunning view yes, but actually the other one the Ulrikken is better (above the hospital and the cable car up). You buy the tickets near the Bryggen and then hike the swindling alleys up halfway the mountain. But actually as you come...More

Test your fitness on the +-700 stone steps. And, at the end get rewarded by the immense view at the top! Also, the journey is through some stunning forestry. Definitely worth it for any adventure.

Stolzekleiven is a really hard up hill run. Will make your heart beat and your bloodstream singing in your ear. On the top you will find a fantastic view over Bergen. Advisable to go in daylight.
