Known as the Viking who discovered America. The panoramic view of the place is very beautiful, both in winter and in summer. Great for enjoying and pondering over life.

We were at the waterfront to see the "post boat" make it first stop in Trondheim during the summer. This was interesting and quite a celebration. It was worth the block or two walk to the statue and probably about same distance from Rockheim.
