Nothing to see in the palace park before spring. Palace is worth a look though. Plan to return in the spring or summer when everything should look a little less grey.

The Park wasn't far from our hotel, and we would regularly take some time in the park on our to and from the hotel. If you're travelling with kids, finding green space to let them run off some steam is a must. The lovely thing...More

We have visited during autumn, the trees were stunning. You can find few statues here, the Rabbit, Fox and more. A nice place to relax.

No visit to the Palace wouldn't be complete without a stroll around the park. It's not big but it's well kept. Wander around the ponds or search for the sculptures that are hidden throughout the park. They even have bee hives on the island in...More

In this park few very old trees that were there before the palace was build. You will have the chance to walk near the palace. Nice view on the city from the top.

It is nicely located in the centre of Oslo, surrounding the royal palace. The park itself has nothing special to see or do

As we were not allowed to go up to the Royal palace due to security owing to some state visit, our guide took us to the Palace Park. It was raining and cold outside. Plus here too there was a lot of security. So we...More

I loved finding the statues of Norwegian royalty in various locations. I think the statue of Queen Maude inspired all the 'good' Disney queens, and Sonja, who has just returned from a hike, looks lovingly across a pond to her home. I can really see...More

Hi, My best guess would be around 1,5 kilometers from the main cruise terminal by Akershus fortress. Best wishes, Liv Osmundsen - Webeditor at the Royal Palace
