Our ship made a short stop at Bodö, so I walked away to see what the town had to offer. I went to see the Bodö Cathedral, which is built of concrete and has basilica design. It is rather unusual that a basilica is built...More

This is a very nice place to visit if you are in town. Its got a very scandinavian look but not sure if its the old or new style. Irrespective of the style I enjoyed spending time inside the church due to its interesting architecture.

A modern church (Ithink it was built after the destruction of WWII) Fairly plain construction contrasts well with he stained glass windows. Worth a bit of your time.

Amazing good performing by Bodø Cathedral choir with solo artist Frode Alnæs, who was guest singer/ gitar player and composed all the melodies and songs for this special concert
