The Votivkirche is one of the most striking parts of the Vienna skyline along with Stephanzdom and the Rathaus yet it is strangely anonymous compared to those when you search online and on tourist websites. I really can't understand why because it is absolutely beautiful...More

If you are in Vienna then go look around this church. It is gorgeous inside and out and very easy to find.

It was a bit of a walk to get there but it was worth it. The church is spectacular and not as gaudy as some of the ones we visited. I loved the decor inside and the ceiling is spectacular.
