We strolled round from the Belvedere and was impressed with the large fountain and the impressive monument to the Red Army. The square has busy roads around it and at least 2 foreign embassies that helped to give the area a certain level of grandness.

On the way to or from Belvedere Palace, it's a nice little area to relax and stop to rest your feet for a while. Large fountain with a monument to the Red Army as well near to it.

When you have worn out your feet, it is a handy place to sit by the fountain in the sun or shade. The Red Army memorial here also puts Vienna's Second World War history in context.
