Went to the Leopold to see the Klimt exhibition which was amazing. Entrance to the exhibition included in museum entry price so very good value. No time unfortunately to see the rest of the museum but would definitely return in future.

This museum is great for the people that are interested in art, but especially to the people that are interested in Klimt and Schieles artwork. Each artist has their own level in the building, which is really good since you won’t get distracted by other...More

A beautiful, compact museum with excellent works of expressionism. Thoughtful and deep curation. It was my husband's first introduction to Egon Schiele, and he walked out better for the experience.

Visited last weekend and though Shiele and Klimt were a must see, the exhibition of Heidi Horton Art collection was the best.

I really enjoyed my trip here. There were exhibits on featuring works by Klimt, Schiele, and a private collection (Heidi Horten collection--Wow! is really a great way to describe it). I believe the Leopold hosts a lot of rotating exhibitions, so just check to see...More

I thought this would be my favorite museum, but Sisi was. If you dont LOVE Klimpt or anhave an interest in lesser known Austrian artists, it might be a bit mundane.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
