The concert is great. I bought my ticket the day off concert - the seat selection might be limited if you do that. Some people come in the proper evening attire while some come in sneakers and jeans. I suggest bringing a more formal clothing...More

This event exceeded my expectations. My husband is no opera lover but even he enjoyed the bite-sized, varied pieces. The singers and dancers complemented the great orchestra. My only criticism was the lack of differentiation between the grades: A, B and C. I wouldn’t recommend...More

Lovely performance by an excellent small ensemble. Lively and entertaining. We had singers and dancers as well. Poor sitting arrangement at one level; hence poor view of stage. Poor ventilation. Have seen better performance at a Palace 2 years ago in Vienna

A melange of music, dance, and opera this is a very entertaining show for the masses with some of the most popular classical pieces. Good for children over the age of about 8. Solid musicians and opera singers. Ballerina is good too.

It's not in the Vienna Opera House, but is probably just as famous now, and a very enjoyable experience. They do a nice job in a venue that doesn't have raised seating. There is a mix of orchestra, song, dance in a magical place. Champagne...More

We got the cheapest tickets, 50 EUR, but they put us RIGHT BEHIND THE ORCHESTRA and my goodness what a unique and amazing experience! We got to see everything and everyone up close, and the never-seen facial expression of the conductor (whose back is turned...More

The salon orchestra performed well for the tourist audience, bringing out all the favourites from Strauss, Mozart and others. The ballet dancers and opera singers were emotive and entertaining. Nice to see classical music in the composers home town.

It was obvious that this nice classic music scene had tourists as target group, and indeed a big part of the audience were groups having arrived with buses. The repertoire included mainly well known ‘mainstream’ melodies by local famous composers Mozart and Schubert. Nevertheless, it...More

Although very touristy, it was great to hear Mozart and Strauss in the city and a venue that evoked their time. The musicians, ballet dancers and opera singers did a truely professional and superb job in a simple but beautiful venue. They also kept it...More
