It's uphill to the Stiegkeller but well worth the walk. Once in the restaurant the height is forgotten and the food and drinks can be enjoyed. The terraces are staggering with views over Salzburg and the surrounding countryside.

The restaurant itself is very nice. There is also an awesome terrace which offers a great view of Salzburg. Unfortunately the food was just average and the waiter forgot one of our orders. The beer is awesome though.

Beer and food are excellent. Prices are reasonable. Since we were there in November we didn't get to enjoy the terrace, but the view is spectacular.

Stopped for lunch, quickly seated and waited upon. Beer was outstanding, food terrific and staff most accommodating. Views from garden were perfect, highly recommended stop on a tour of the city!

An excellent experience. I asked at the city information office for a suggestion on local food. This place was great. I took the recommendation of the waiter for which of the Stiegl beers to order, as well as, my dinner (roasted pork). The meat was...More
