We stayed in the top floor apartment of the "Pink Building" FABULOUS location, just on the edge of the old town. Great lively part of the town

This is shopping street with many shops selling high end items. The houses along the street are very colourful and they are aligned along a cliff.

Lovely street from the old world and suddenly you are shocking with McDonalds, like you are “time traveller”. McDonald’s sign is coolest I’ve seen ever. Very nice match with the street. There a lots of little passages, alleys, wish to have much more time to...More

The best in shopping while in Salzburg. Only thing is some of the shops you will need to dig deep in the pockets with places such as Pandora, Swarovski and traditional clothing. They also have shops for the small to medium budget as well. Plenty...More

It's wierd to have such an olde worlde street with a McDonalds and H&M on! The shops blend in well to the street, especially with the unique McDonalds sign. Cobbles add to the feel of an old street, as do the brightly coloured buildings. Lots...More

Found out about the multitude of shopping passages and tunnels on YouTube, and it was a shame we only had a few hours to spend in Gstattengasse. To do it justice you really need a day, at least, to spend there especially as its within...More
