Very beautiful part of the city, a good walk, but there is a lift if you are unsteady on your feet, just be careful as the roads are cobbled.

My wife and I made two trips down to the Grund. We absolutely loved it! It is beautiful. The canals are lovely and the views from up top are amazing.
