Museum is huge!!! To deeper being into it you need a series of visits. I liked this place (both art and buildings) and I would to come back again.

this is a free museum, though you pay for the extra exhibition if you want. it starts in the basement level, I did find the layout a little confusing and the writing is all in French/Luxembourgish, I only discovered after a while that there are...More

This is a very good museum but despite the name there is very little art -- it is mostly a natural history museum. It's very big (10 floors). When I was there the temporary exhibitions were very well signed in English, but there are no...More

Free entry to the permanent exhibitions, while you have to pay to view the temporary ones. It wasn't immediately obvious to us as to the best route around the museum (there are many floors); I'd suggest starting on floor -5 (lowest level) which has the...More

I would have been disappointed had I paid to go in but since we had time and it was free, we went in. We had just come from Paris so with that in mind, this museum was a little lackluster in comparison to those in...More

The museum was spread over 8 floors, divided between archaeology and art with a few other exhibitions. It has a very good cafe on site.

Nice museum - this National Museum of Art and History. I did a relatively quick visit (the museum is enormous) and I enjoyed every part of it I visited. Good little cafe inside. Was a good time.

We were not even planning to go here but there was live music outside and it was a bit before lunch, so seemed like a way to plug the gap. Are we glad we went- the permanent exhibitions are free (we did not really have...More

The museum houses a few archeological finds. Beautiful glass and sculptures and old currencies. It was has art from a few artists with interest in the beautiful landmarks. What would be nice, is if they had more information in English.
