The museum houses a splendid collection of black and white photographs from famous agencies (e.g. Magnum and Life) and equally famous photographers. They show 20th century mankind in different stages of life, and in different cultures. A wonderful glimpse into the past. Definitely worth visiting.

I am not a photographer and I don't know much about photography but the family of man exhibition is spectacular. Amazing shots from a variety of great well known photographers. All in black and white. This is an exhibit you would expect in NYC or...More

This is a nice gallery showing pictures from people all over the world and in different settings. It is not too small but you can still everything in easily under one hour even if you look at them in detail and read everything. Some pictures...More

Don't go for the castle, go for the photos. The exhibition really is impressive and you just get hooked.

I would love to know why this main attraction is closed in January and February while 2 other exhibitions are open at the same venue all year round ???!!!!

I saw comments of visitors complaining about the photographs lack of explanation. I find that absolutely irrelevant. The exhibition is meant to be thought provoking and challenges the viewer to make its own connection through the visual theme displayed in the various groups of photographs....More

A captivating series of black and white photos depicting real life, around the world, in the mid-1900s. My husband and I were equally impressed, both by the content of the exhibit and also by the stunning venue which houses it. Truly worth a side visit...More
