To say this is one of our favourite bars would be an understatement.
The staff are super friendly, especially Noah who is super attentive and always quick to refill our drinks!
There is a selection of games to make the night more fun, it’s a great place to go for friends and family.
Although there isn’t a restaurant, a small snack/lunch menu, the chickpea bread is just wow…
The list of cocktails is fab and very very cheap compared to other bars in the area. I paid €6 for 2 vodkas 1 lemonade (splitting the bottle between two glasses)
The music is amazing. Indie/rock/classic get up and sing at the top of your lungs songs. I’ve been told there is live music but due to covid they’ve had to slow down on the events, but I can’t wait to when they’re back!

Glad I came across this place whilst wondering around on night. Quite small, but the intimacy is what really makes it. A really chill bar vibe with low volume music playing In the background. Good pricing and full of people talking, laughing and generally having a good time.

We have been here in Sliema for 3 weeks and found this our first week …what a fantastic kooky place! We’re a couple in our 60s/70s & were made to feel part of the crowd by staff and customers alike. Loved the birthday party on Friday - wish we could’ve stayed but had to go for dinner…..well done and thank you! x x

We decided to try this place due to the number of good reviews but should have realised most were over a year old. This is a good bar if you are under 30 and local. Tourists, not really welcomed with open arms. It is a very small pub that doesn’t really offer much. If you want a seat, you need to get there at opening time as most come in, have a drink and play games. They do have cocktails and some craft beers but so do quite a few in Sliema. There are no draught beers so if you want a pint, it is actually a can. Found the staff very rude and couldn’t believe one barman straight out telling an old Englishman to get off the seat as the people were having a cigarette. Even I could see the guy needed a seat for a couple of mins as he looked uncomfortable standing up. When a local sits there in a busy bar using 3 stools, two for his bags, and they are telling tourists to stand elsewhere or outside, you would think they would comment. Amazingly, the guy didn’t understand English, which almost everyone in Malta does. We did try one another, not so busy mid week night, benefit of the doubt, and had the fingers waved at us for pulling a stool to sit down. There are far better pubs, bigger and friendlier throughout Sliema. Go to them instead. It sounded like a good bar last year and beyond but obviously changed since then.

You have got to come here, the cocktails are fab. The vibe is pretty cool, sort of Hackney-esque vibe to it, the staff are pretty chilled too - very friendly. Some games in the corner. Music is varied but not boring commercial pop/electronic but proper music. It gets busy and some people reserve a seat. I'd definitely come here again

I searched for ‘best bar in Sliema’ and this came up - Google certainly wasn’t wrong! Absolute gem of a place with fab decor, great music (and not ridiculously loud) plus fab cocktails. A bonus is the arcade video game machine that is free play! Great chilled out vibes and a lovely atmosphere, thoroughly recommend.

They also do sandwiches with witty titles - Hambourghini and Cheesus Christ!

Great little spot. Friendly staff and great vibe. Can’t wait to return when corona times is over because it looks super fun for music and dancing. Unbeatable prices on drinks and apps!

As part of any holiday we embark on, we like to track down the best pubs and bars selling craft beer both local and afar.

We headed up late friday night and found the place packed! I didn't think i would need to book but clearly this is something you should consider. Luckily we got a table.

The craft beer list consisted of beers from the USA. Which is always a treat, doesn't matter where you are. The prices where very acceptable.

A young chap was the waiter for the evening and appeared to keep the many customer's topped up with beers. It was a good show.

The atmosphere was excellent, it appeared to made up of locals as a opposes to tourists which is great.

A fantastic bar and one that should be high on your list, if you love beer.

Had a great time at the Hole in the Wall, which is a great & quaint bar in the centre of Sliema. Drinks are really cheap and you get a good mix of expats and locals, away from the noise and confusion of St Julians.
