It was a sunny, but cool Spring day. After lunch there was an overwhelming urge to lie on the lawns under the shady trees. Let the kids climb on the playground equipment, I needed a rest.

It really does have it all. With new public toilets, trees for climbing, BBQs, shaded seating, grass, food shops nearby, and the beach across the road. The historic house in the corner is worth a look, too.

Beautiful spot to sit in summer with all the cafes across the rd, nice to grab a bite and sit in the park. The old homestead open each day and is free entry with great history.

lovely reserve with a great location near the pier. love the big trees that give it a photogenic atmosphere. check out the historic homestead or cross the road to the beach/pier and the nearby weaver reserve
