    House of Blues and Whiskey
We found our way to Dillon on the main street just fine. It was crowded and lively. The second floor bar is amazing, there is a wonderful supply of whiskies from around the world. We didn't have anything there, because we were there for Blues music. Eventually, the bartender joyously invited up to the third floor for the Blues. The bar there is a little sparser but we found some nice whiskey to try. The music was great but a bit on the loud side and we had forgotten our earplugs, so we only stayed one set. The crowd was enthusiastic and suitably diverse. Sadly by the time we left it looked like their food service had shut down, so no word there. But a solid venue for Blues in Iceland.
Thank you for the positive review!

Great atmosphere with music and whiskey
Multi storied building, it took some time to figure out the right entrance as the concerts are on the 3rd floor from the back door. There was a band playing blues/rock, the atmosphere was charming and they have a wide selection of whiskey. Being in Iceland, this was the most expensive local whiskey I ever tasted :)

    40th birthday trip
This was the last bar we went to before coming home. I was a nice place if you like live music. They had two parts the first bar was the biggest with lots of seating, then up stairs was where the live music was and that part was a little small. Good if you like a lively bar.

We stopped in for drinks and had a wonderful experience! It is worth noting we were there early in the evening so it wasn’t overly crowded. We enjoyed several drinks and the bartenders were helpful and made some fantastic cocktails and we enjoyed meeting some locals. A great way to unwind after a long day of walking/touring around!

went here one evening during our Iceland trip. the atmosphere is fantastic. there was music being played through speakers and it was busy, but it didn't feel too loud or cramped. the staff were friendly and helpful. we would stop here again if we were to visit Iceland again. there was also a good variety of drinks. the only downside was how expensive drinks were, although this was the case for all places in Iceland so not a reason to not return.

Amazing choice of music! Rock, metal, and sometimes a bit eclectic. Make use of the happy hour!
They have live music too, and the barmen were super friendly.
We hunkered down on a freezing, windy day, and ended up spending hours without planning to.

On new year’s eve, we were waiting outside the bar - which was full according to the bartender Except for a girl named SIlvia who was allowed to enter from another entrance. Truly embarrassing. Good job guys, have a nice 2022!

It’s a shame I am leaving this review as a great bar , amazing music but not nice when the bar man charges you nearly double what you should pay and in his defence says… it’s his first day . Just be careful. Shame we won’t be going back there now as it was such a good place.

I never post reviews like this, but here we are:

I have never, ever in my entire life experienced the type of arrogant, rude, maniacal attitude as I did by the horrid woman who said that "she runs the establishment".

I tried multiple times to strike up a conversation in a kind manner only to have some brash, condescending response from her.
Example:
Me- "hey, what is your name?"
Her- "I don't have a name." as she stormed off. (She wasn't joking. She is probably the worst human being I have ever come across in my entire life.)

I and my two other friends saw and heard her berate two guys from Spain who cruised in for a few cocktails by telling them that it was bs they were there as "they weren't of age". After they showed their passports, she begrudgingly served them. (I would have left at that point if I were them, and, after hearing that, I and my friends finished our drinks and left.)

To whoever owns this place- this woman will destroy your establishment.
I will never, ever walk into this place again!

I have worked in food and beverage for over twenty years, and I have never, ever, ever experienced, seen, or heard anything like what occurred last night. I spent a lot of money there, and I am absolutely appalled, disgusted, and still irate about the situation.

If this woman does not get fired, your business will fail. You will succumb to closure like so many other places do.

The male bartender who was there was very, very kind, so it's not me making up a story for the sake of it.

This person has no place in this industry.

Ownership: for the sheer sake of your success, this individual needs to be fired immediately. I cannot stress enough how disgusted I am after experiencing what I experienced.

The lady is on the right in the photo with the red atop her head.

To the tourists: GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!Please, trust, believe, and consider my aforementioned statements. As long as she is there, this place is a giant dumpster.

I feel very bad for the ownership as one incident should not reflect nor advocate closure of a place, but, again, this woman is literally the worst human being I have ever come across in my entire life.

To ownership:
If you didn't or do not know, well, now you do, and here is your opportunity to rectify the situation by alleviating this person of her duties. I do not wish you ill, but if you keep this woman on your staff after knowing what you now know, your business will end.

I am just absolutely disgusted and infuriated by the whole situation!! I have never called for the firing of someone, but this is a completely different scenario all together.

Owners: look at Bill's review from a few 4 weeks ago on Google maps. I guarantee this to be the same person.
