It's not really much to see and I'm even from Finland. Surely it's old but that's about it. It's not pretty and it's certainly nothing to travel for. Just kinda one of those been-there-done-that.

Visited the church today. The inside is very nice. You must check out the side rooms, they are very interesting.

This cathedral has a great deal of history on display. It’s very well preserved and easy to access. It’s just the other side of the river from the city centre and well worth he short, beautiful walk. Take your time to see all the cathedral...More

Beautiful inside and out. Very peaceful. Take time out to just sit and pray or just be still before moving on. We visited on a beautiful but busy day outside and this was a time to reflect for a while.

Visited at end of March when it was pretty cold outside. 1st time I've ended up feeling warmer inside a cathedral. If you care nothing about religion it can still be a nice place to warm up and think about life.

The only place in Turku worth seeing. The lady at the reception was very helpful. She even guided us to some nice and reasonable places for food. A good experience overall.

The museum upstairs has a nice collection of historical church art, statues, altar clothes and dishes. Remember to open the "secret drawers" in the back as many of the most beautiful clothes can be found there. There are rarely other people in there and the...More

Great place to visit if you have 30mins to spare. Amazing architecture internally and can spend very long time staring at the ceiling and the paintings on the wall.

Even if you are not religious person Turku Cathedral is a place you want to see. It is approximately 800 years old, though original structures have not survived to this day. Due several wars and fires the church has been renovated several times and today...More
