Propably the most interesting place to visit during the winter time in Turku. The variety of exhibitions will come across most demanding visitors. Worth seeing with children.

Extensive museum with full size and model boats, special exhibitions and an inventive shop. Some of the boats were closed because it was off season, but there was still plenty to see.

In this museum next to Turku Castle, you can explore the Finnish maritime and naval history. The museum has a big collection of vessels and museum ships. For example, you can visit the sailing ship Suomen Joutsen, the warship Karjala and the museum ship Bore.
