We thought that the castle would be a quick look around but were pleasantly surprised after we spent almost 3 hours in the castle. The icing on the cake was watching jousting competition in the grounds after our walk through the castle. Only concern that...More

We had a great guide, which made the visit awesome. The castle has many rooms and interesting history. The guided tour takes about an hour. There was a nice restaurant and a gift shop outside. Highly recommended if you're visiting Turku.

Probably the best attraction in Turku, many rooms on various levels and interesting historical features.

It was a one-day tour in Turku while waiting for our ferry and beautiful Turku castle was there with its beautiful posture. Seems like from a tale of mythology.

I walked here along the river as recommend by the travel guide. It was a very pleasurable walk. I didn’t go inside the castle, but I got a good look from the outside. It is large and there were some interesting things to see in...More

Former king’s castle of Sweden kings this place has to be visited. You should reserve at least 2 hours for this diving in history depth and you wouldn’t be disappointed. Бывший королевский замок шведских королей просто обязателен к посещению. Будьте готовы посвятить минимум 2 часа...More

If you are Europian you can skip this without a doubt (you have propably seen enought castles already). Everyone else; this castle is a must-see! Finnish history is based on many different events, but Turku castle plays a big role in most of them.

What a beautiful historical castle. There is so much to see and worth going and having a look. The walk through the castle is fantastic with very knowledgeable guides. There’s a lot of steps so if you have bad knees, I don’t recommend it. Full...More

Get indulged into the rich Turku patrimony through this castle. An easy walk from the city center, which would leave you absolutely back in times. Absolutely worth the penny which includes friendly hosts dressed in traditional attire guiding us through the castle step by step,...More

It's a nice castle to visit but nothing major to talk about. I wouldn't travel here specifically to see it but it's a good few hours to spend there, if you happen to be at the area.

Unfortunately, local tourist attractions are closed during holidays. Easter is highly celebrated here so most people are with their loveones. Expect that shops might be also closed or if ever open, it is only for a couple of... More
