A must try escape room in Tampere. We were there 6h ago and we cannot stop talking about how awesome it was. The room's ambiance was awesome. The decoration was beautiful. The puzzles were great. The story is very well made up, so inmersive that I felt goose bumps many many times (and believe me, I am not superstitious at all). Every clue available in Finnish and English (what was one of our requirements since we were all foreigns). No need of physical skills kno jumping, no hard pushing or pulling, no going through narrow places). We also had a great time talking to our "Guardian Angel", who is one of the two master minds behind this escape room and who runs the business with his wife. Since we were beginners (and very curious) he was telling us everything about this room and many others in Tampere, Helsinki and all around Europe. Our group of 5 managed to escape in 55min (5 min before the time was over). Looking forward to your next room!!!

Beautiful room with a lot of carefully selected details. Everything was skillfully connected into the plot and we really enjoyed the way the storyline slowly developed. The tasks and problems were challenging and diverse and there was a great way to give hints. Very enjoyable experience alltogether.

Room escape game which was carefully made and really interesting story. Not too scary but nice way thrilling. Our group really liked it and the game master made sure that every one could shine. For friends and groups, age limit 16 years old

Marien Muotokuvat delivered a superbly balanced, atmospheric, and well-crafted escape room experience. The room featured several unique puzzles and quirks that were new to us. The challenge level was just right, pushing us to think creatively and solve problems in unconventional ways.
The host was equally impressive—professional and personable. He generously took the time to chat with us after our session and even recommended other great rooms to try.
Definitely a 5/5—highly recommend!

Very versatile and plot faithful escape room. Task amount was fine and the tasks were not too challenging. Room had not red herrings (or at least we didn't find any) and it's attention to detail was superb. Timer and hint channel weren't standard screens but something much more suitable for this room. Go and experience.
Owner is very talkative and service-oriented person. We got couple of good recommendations from him where to go next.

Two couples puzzling through an escape room. The room and the story building up was very well designed. The atmosphere was interesting and kept our energy level high with a couple of slightly thrilling parts. Thumbs up and easy to recommend! So far the best room escape experience!

Went with a bachelorette party. 2 people first timers, 2 been once in different rooms. Everyone very different personalities. Room gave trouble but also success. Was very pleasant experience. Though there is only one toilet, if you have a larger group of girls.

Room's atmosphere was nice. Exciting but not too scary. Missions were different and hints come in nice way if needed. Story wasnt cliche. Special thanks to friendly staff!

The story was great and intriguing, attention to detail excellent and the atmosphere in the room was great. Good puzzled with excellent variation, would rate the difficulty as medium. Went with four friends, got out in time with one clue (the clue system is amazing, my favourite yet). Couple running the place was also super friendly and clearly very enthusiastic about escape games.

We did the Marien muotokuvat as a group of 3 in March 2019 and enjoyed it tremendously. Both the room with its ambiance and puzzles as well as the story were very well executed. The GM was very nice and you can see he's into escape rooms in a big way.
I've been to quite a few escape rooms and this is one of the best I've seen. I'm definitely going to play ElämysTeeris other rooms when those are released. 12/10 recommending Marien muotokuvat!
