This very small church is at the side of a busy square in central Helsinki. Free to visit, it’s a nice place to go in to and just be quiet for 5 mins. No mobiles. No photos! Just relax and enjoy the silence:))

Lovely modern chapel that requires complete silence, which is a welcome break from the shopping in nearby Kamppi mall.

it was very silent inside as the name suggests, central location, easy to locate, not too much crowded, welcoming volunteers available, photography not allowed, but managed to take one, we enjoyed relaxing for a bit inside, definitely recommend a visit once. Free entry for everyone,...More

Looks really big on the outside but is small inside. You can get a sense of peace and reflection here, if you avoid the odd noisy tourist. Photos not allowed. From here it is 10 minutes to the Natural History museum and the 'rock' Kirk.

This is the most wonderful place, both architecturally and spiritually. Made of wood, it is quite small and very quiet and conducive to reflection and a few moments of stillness in our busy lives. Highly recommended for everyone.

A good place to shop or stop for a coffee. The bus station is underneath the centre which makes it very convenient.

This is such an amazing idea in the middle of the hustle bustle of a city. Ideally if you can time it so there aren't too many people around, it's that much more profound an experience because you'll really get the "silence".

Plain, simple, nice. It is unusual as next to a large shopping center, but beautiful in its simplicity. Must see.
