I visited this on my last day in Helsinki. I really liked the architecture of the chapel. It was a very interesting space that deserves respect and silence to appreciate. I would recommend a visit, at least for a break from the noise outside!

With its minimal and unique modern design and engineering, the Kamppi Chapel of silence could be described as simply beautiful. It is a cozy haven where people can come in to meditate or to pray, or to escape from the everyday activities of the city....More

An unusual designed church in an unusual location, the design is very nice, inside it is a nice calm space for relaxing and thinking

It is amazing to enter the silent chapel from the street with so much noise. You feel having a bit of heaven in your life sitting and praying there.

Build in wood and dumped on the perimeter of the square the chapel looks out of place. When inside it is simple in design, but not amazing and people on the benches seemed annoyed with other people coming in just to look.

Just 10 minutes is enough to benefit from a little quiet reflection inside this delightful, peaceful little chapel. A calm escape from the outside world (though Helsinki itself is hardly a frenetic place!).

Prior to coming to Helsinki, I red a small blurb about the chapel. Funny enough, after shopping, we literally fell across it. Rick Steves calls it the wooden tea cup. As soon as I saw the structure, I knew what it was. I walked around...More

Situated in the square by Kamppi bus station you will find sanctuary from the busy work outside. Yes there are people constantly coming and going but there are periods where there is time to retreat from the hub bub of life. The contemporary architecture and...More

Great atmosphere but I wish they’d installed double entry doors as many people were still talking when they came in, so the silence was constantly being broken.
