After thrashing your way through a busy city . Whether it’s the noise of the trams , doing lots of high end shopping and just taking in the architecture. Take 10 minutes to reflect here . Beautiful outside and peaceful inside .

I spent the better part of a day looking for this, only to find its in a quite obvious place near everything. No photos allowed inside. I actually think the outside is more interesting.

In the middle of a bustling urban shopping center stand this visually arresting building. It was built as a place for silent reflection to get away from the shopping and city bustle. Be sure to note the wonderful gray felt pillows that are meant to...More

I like the outside better than inside. If you are interested in churches and religion, visit this chapel. It tells you about the Finnish Lutheran religion.

We were in Helsinki during the Putin/Trump summit but instead of being in the huge crowd on the streets I went to this church and it was stunning... and fortunately quite empty too, as everyone was outside!

Worth looking inside, it’s a quiet haven, the wooden construction is simple and well executed. A great place to reflect.

In the heart of the city. Probably the noisiest part of it you could have a moment only for you. I really enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended.

Love the simplicity of the structure. Also enjoyed watching everybody in agony that they couldn’t take pictures inside 😊 put your phone down and be still, what’s wrong with everyone these days !

This is a lovely chapel with a quest to help people suffering with depression. It is UTTERLY silent (as the name would imply). The outside of the structure is just as beautiful as the inside. Highly recommend.
