Really something to behold. Built on a hill, it’s presence overlooking some of Helsinki is quite imposing, the architecture is incredible and the detail and design inside is a must-see. Free to enter and visit.
It is the first orthodox church, I have ever been to and it made a big impact on me.

The eastern oxthodox church is only 5-10 minutes walk from the Soumenlinna ferry terminal. The church is located at the top of a hill slope and had a magnificent old architecture. It is free entry.

It's closed on Monday. They are only opened for a couple of hours on other days if the week too. Though it is worth going in, just looking at the church and walking around it to see the 360 view of Helsinki bay is nice, too.
